FIRST RESPONDERS TOUR
OUR STORY
The First Responders Tour is a unique program that takes youth from our program across the nation to engage in friendly yet competitive basketball games against local police and fire departments.
In response to increasing tensions between first responders and young African American citizens, Royalty Empowerment launched The First Responders Tour on November 9th, 2018. The goal of this initiative is to bridge the gap between the two groups through the shared experience of basketball, fostering mutual understanding and respect.
Since its inception, the tour has grown significantly helping to break down stereotypes and build lasting relationships. Its impact reaches far beyond the basketball court, transforming interactions between youth and first responders and inspiring communities nationwide to implement similar programs for positive change.
